Training while volunteering
Volunteers will learn Swedish, enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills, receive insight into the activities of young people associated with the Jönköping Youth Centre, and participate in a brief orientation when they first arrive. Additionally, they will gain knowledge about the typical pursuits of young people associated with the Youth Centre.

This volunteer project offers local Jönköping youth work practices with a global perspective in an effort to enhance already existing events and projects within the Department of Culture and Recreation. It will be carried out in the youth centres of the 150,000-person Jönköping Municipality. All children and teens are invited; however, emphasis is given to those between the ages of 10 and 19. Depending on the age group, both after-school and midnight programmes are offered. Six volunteers will commit to working with us for a full year beginning on September 1, 2023.
